One of my friends once submitted the following haiku to a competition:
Auto-erotic
Asphyxiation, simply
Takes my breath away
I see you're online right now...Betty. My submissino was:
"The humble snail waits
Family name covers it
Achatinidae."

Instead, he wrote it following the death of Michael Hutchence.
